I liked this bit. And I’m assuming Bruce is not joking. He damn well better take care of Alfred after all the shit he went through (and goes through on a daily basis).

Alfred had so many brilliant moments. This one was worth a chuckle, but there were some fairly emotional ones too.
We see his journal entries throughout the series tell us exactly what he’s thinking, which may be heartwarming or heartbreaking depending on the circumstances. He loves those boys, but spends his life waiting at home while they go out and fight the most dangerous criminals in Gotham. When they come home he has to stitch them back together and then just let them carry on. It’s a hard life, but he never complains and tries not to interfere.
I could go on about his part for some time but I’ll stop here.

Dick: Robots! This is like the biggest case we’ve ever faced!
Babs: Good robots too! They look just like a real person.
Dick: Anyone we know could be a robot!
Babs: It would fool us if we knew the person…would it?
Dick: Maybe not. They’d probably be a little bit roboty, detached…unemotional…mechanical…
(They both glance at Alfred)
Babs: Kick his head off.
Dick: You kick his head off!
Alfred: Attempt to do any such thing, and I assure you, there will be no hot buttered raisin scones for either of you for a year.
Dick: Only Alfred sounds that much like Alfred.
Babs: Yup.
